A) We are a locally owned, family operated company that has been proudly serving Chicago land and the suburbs since 2001. Because we live & work in the community we pride ourselves on helpful, friendly customer service. With over 45 different inflatables to choose from, we know that we can help make any event a HUGE success. <<<
2) How far in advance should I make my reservation?
A) The sooner the better! People reserve our units weeks and sometimes months in advance. We don't want you to miss out on the fun! Saturdays are our most popular day and book up quickly. So the earlier you reserve the more choices you have. <<<
3) What if I have problems during my party?
A) Never fear, you can always call us. If we happen to step away from our desk, leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. <<<
4) When do you deliver my order to the party?
A) We usually deliver in the morning between 8am and 10:30am. Pick up will begin after 7pm. If there are special time requirements, our professional full time staff will work with you. If a later pick up is required, and additional charge of $40/hr. will occur. <<<
5) How much area is needed?
A) The sizes of our inflatable jumps are included in the description of each jump. You will need an additional two feet clearance on each side, as well as 2 feet of overhead clearance.<<<
6) What surfaces can the inflatable be setup on?
A) The safest surface is a level grassy area. However, we can setup on concrete asphalt, parking lots, etc. Please specify which surface the inflatable will be setup on so we can provide the appropriate anchors. <<<
7) What if it is rainy or windy?
A) A MOON JUMP 4U reserves the right to cancel a reservation (at no penalty to you) if there are heavy rains or high winds (over 25 MPH). The safe operation of our units and customer safety is our utmost concern. However, once the unit is delivered and accepted, no refunds shall be issued due to bad weather. <<<
8) Do you carry insurance?
A) Yes, A MOON JUMP 4U, Inc carries liability insurance. <<<
9) Are your units safe?
A) Yes, because we deliver, set-up & remove all of our jumps ourselves. We are constantly inspecting the jumps for any safety issues. Additionally, all of our jumps are equipped with safety ramps and full view netting for easy supervision. <<<
10) What if I do not have electric near?
A) A MOON JUMP 4U has generators available for an additional rental fee. However, we do need you to let us know if you require a generator when placing your rental order.<<<
11) Is it ok to tip the driver?
A) Please do! Our drivers work really hard to make your party a success. If they have done a good job, please let them know.<<<
12) How much should I pay for a moon jump bounce?
A) It depends. You get what you pay for. Cheaper priced companies sometimes means, unsanitary, cheaper made, worn out, and unsafe products. If you want the convenience of having someone deliver, set-up, give safety instruction and pick up the jump, you will pay more. If you don't mind giving up your time having to pick up, set-up and returning the inflatable in your vehicle, you can save about $20.00 <<<
13) Can the moon jump be left over night?
A) Experience has shown that leaving them over night increases the chance of the moon jump getting moist and developing mildew which is unhealthy and difficult to remove. As long as the moon jump is on your property, you are responsible for the unit. Therefore for your own peace of mind, we pick up the moon jumps and inflatable units the same day. This way you are not baby sitting a moon jump after your guest depart. <<<
14) Will the moon jump ruin my grass?
A) No. The grass will jump back to its natural form within a day or two. <<<
15) Can I set a Moon Jump on my lawn if I have a sprinkler
system?
A) Yes. Please notify our office at the time of booking. We will mark the contract accordingly. Our drivers will provide sand bags for anchoring the unit down, and they will not use the standard metal stakes.<<<
16) Does the blower on the moon jump need to be running all
the time?
A) Yes. The inflatable will deflate if the blower is turned off.<<<
17) Can the moon jump be used in the rain?
A) A slight drizzle is ok. Keep safety in mind! You do have electric hooked up to the unit. If a brief summer thunderstorm occurs, please turn off the blower. As soon as the storm passes, turn the blower back on and towel dry the interior of the moon jump. We would rather not have the unit out in the pouring rain. But sometimes the weather men don't always get it right.
18) Do I need an attendant?
A) There must ALWAYS be someone supervising the moon jump or any inflatable. You must remember to limit the amount of children jumping. Also, make sure that the kids are of similar size and weight. A MOON JUMP 4U can supply an attendant for the charge of $25/hr. <<<
19) I noticed you have indoor jumps, what is the recommended age?
A) Our indoor moon jumps as well as our indoor 3 n 1 are recommended for ages 7 and under. They are made by the same manufactures as our large jumps, however scaled down to accommodate our younger customers. <<<
20) May I have my event at a city or county park?
A) Yes. However, certain permits or licenses maybe required. Most require proof of insurance (certificate of insurance). Check with the individual park or call us to find out the requirements. There is a small fee to be named as additionally insured. This fee is charged to us by our insurance company. <<<
21) Do you require a deposit?
A) Yes. A $50.00 deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit does go towards your balance. The remainder of the balance is to be paid in full at the time of set up.<<<
